Milan, Michigan/Springfield, Ohio ■ Wittenberg University
I graduated from Wittenberg with a degree this past May in Spanish and International Relations, with a minor in History. I knew from my first days at Witt, when I truly realized that church related service year programs were an option, that it was the option that was right for me. While studying abroad on a service learning program, in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, I depended my passion for the Spanish language and being of service to all those around. When I encountered Border Servant Corps, and read its tenants, I was excited about how closely it fit the vision I have for my future. I’m incredibly excited to see a new side of the country (I’ve never been further West than Wisconsin!), to try new foods, and to see what God has in store for me in this year of service and discernment.
